| it's been a while... but when hasn't it been a while? I'm in summer school.... *groan.
What's worse is that I have to wake up at 4 in the morning every day and then take the bus at 5 am so that I can arrive at COC (college of the canyons) at 7:20 for a class that's at 8 am. Doesn't that suck? Well, we all choose the roads we travel and mine just seems to include 2 buses. Meh.
Only 3 more weeks of this and then I'm off to summer school at LACC which is much better considering that it's less than the 33 miles I have to travel to COC.
Okay... I have a myspace account now... damn peer pressure. I probably might write my blogs there but we'll see. I have love for xanga still though.
peace, g's. | | |
| hey all...
so I had to go back to USC to change my schedule because I couldn't do
it online, right? So I left and had to go around USC campus like
twice looking for parking before I decided to just go inside and park
right outside of registration even though the meters cost so damn much
on campus. So I filled out the paper and then went to turn it in
but then the registration guy said I needed a signature and I was like
I already had one from the dean of my department. He was all like
no you need the math department signature since I was adding a math
class which is bull since I'm not even a math major!
So I had to go to KAP which is way too damn far so I took the car so I
didn't have to worry about the meter running out. So I parked in
front of KAP and was lucky enough to get a meter that had money in it
already.
So I go into KAP and talk to the guy at the window of the math
department place. I tell him I need a signature but he thinks I'm
asking for D clearance but I'm like No I don't need D clearance and
then he looks it up and says... "You don't need D clearance for this
class" can anyone say, no shit sherlock? I tell him I need
a signature and he tells me I have the wrong sheet of paper and I'm
like No, I have the right sheet of paper I just need a signature.
He replies "Well I can't sign that." he then sends me off to DRB
to find a guy called Lanski but adds "I don't know if he's here right
now."
I'm thinking well shit and head over to DRB. take the elevator up
to the 2nd floor and realize that this building is the worse building
ever built and I got lost. Not really lost but I definitely took
the long way to this room. Worse floor plan ever, let me tell
you. I talk to this Lanski guy who thankfully is in. Ask
for his signature and he says, "Why do I need to sign it?" To
which I reply, "I don't know but the guy at registration told me to get
a signature from the math department and sent me here." He looks
confused. I'm already confused. He calls registration.
Conversation goes as such... one sided since I think I do know what the registration guy was saying but I'm not that psychic:
"I'm calling and I don't know if this is the right place to call" (he
called registration and I just said I'd come from there, mind you)
"I have a student here who's asking for a signature on a class that's
not D clearance." (well, I think we've all established it's not D
clearance, haven't we?)
"Has there been a change of policy?" (No, the registration guy's just a prick)
(to me) "What major are you?"
Me: Engineering and my department already cleared my overload units
(to registration guy or whoever's on the phone) "She's not even a math
major." (duh, I think registration guy thought I was a philosophy major
but he didn't ask me, just assumed... ASS)
"I'm just asking because this is the first time a student's come to me
with this situation." (well, because it isn't a change of policy and
registration guy's still just a prick... I got a freaking overload unit
signature already, don't you think I could just switch the class?
No, you can't)
"So that the department knows?" (yeah, I need the math department knowing how many units I'm taking)
"The teacher won't even know if she has overload units" (At least
Lanksi and I are on the same page... let me see, first day of class,
excuse me, professor. I have over 20 units, be kind to me...
bullshit guy)
"Okay, I just wanted to know. Bye"
Then he signs it. All that for a freaking signature.
I try to make my exit when he asks how many classes I'm taking. 7
classes of course. Then he says the classes must be too easy if
I'm taking 7 classes. I'm thinking to myself, dude, they're not
easy I'm just not doing a lot of extra curricular activities but he
insists the classes must be getting too easy. Well, screw
him. It'll be hard enough.
Had to drive back to registration building and got the paper and got my
classes. All that for just one class! to add one class and
drop one class. WTF!!!!

| Hi.... just came back from Vegas... How awesome is that?!?
Well, I have to park in the UPC because PSA ran out already.
Which really, really bites if you ask me, but not only that if the
people who screwed with my car (screwed being hit) gives a good offer
they'll scrap my car! How messed up is that? So I might not
even have Noah.
other than that I can't take math over the summer because I don't have
a prerequisite for it and it screws up my whole schedule!

| okay, here I'll write what I was going to last time.
Well, I'm getting really annoyed with Tomas because he's just around
all the time. It's freaking unbelievable. I need my space,
but then how do you tell a person that. Hey, could you just leave
me the hell alone? Seems rude.
Anyway. I can't wait to go to Vegas. It's so far away that
I'm sad I have to wait. It's going to be awesome. At least
the rain's stopped so far. I hope that it doesn't rain on
Saturday because I want to get my freaking tennis lessons over
with. Next stop, Wimbledon (did I even spell that right?)
Okay. Peace out G.
